Got the steady hand and sharp eye of a welder?

If precision is your thing and you take pride in clean, consistent welds, this is a great opportunity to join a well established Leicester based sheet metal manufacturer with a strong order book and genuine long term scope.

Experience welding aluminium would be a big advantage, particularly for this role.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Leicestershire

Pay: Starting at £16 per hour – Willing to increase for the right candidate, depending on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

You’ll be getting stuck into:

  • Precision MIG or TIG welding of sheet metal components
  • Working from engineering drawings and welding to specification
  • Producing neat, high quality welds to a clean finish
  • Visual inspection and minor finishing where required
  • Keeping your work area safe, organised, and production ready
  • Supporting the wider fabrication team as needed

You’ll need to bring:

  • Proven MIG or TIG welding experience in a fabrication or sheet metal environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • A reliable, safety focused approach to work
  • Aluminium welding experience – highly desirable
