Love seeing a project through from workshop to installation? Want to create bespoke furniture rather than the same product day after day?

Job Title: Furniture Maker & Installer
Location: Doncaster
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £15 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:45pm (flexible hours to suit)
Benefits: Company tools provided, potential for production bonus scheme, food van on site, free onsite parking, long term progression opportunities, varied project work and a supportive team environment.

We are working with an award winning bespoke furniture and interiors manufacturer that designs, manufactures and installs high quality fitted furniture for both residential and commercial clients.

Trading for almost 20 years, the business has built an excellent reputation for craftsmanship, quality and customer service. Every project is manufactured in house, from bespoke kitchens and fitted bedrooms through to home offices, media walls and commercial interiors.

With a busy order book, an on site workshop and showroom, and a close knit team of skilled craftsmen, this is an opportunity to join a business where quality genuinely comes first and no two projects are ever the same.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Furniture Maker & Installer to join their team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manufacturing bespoke furniture and interiors within the workshop
  • Using woodworking machinery including edge banders, panel saws, cutting equipment etc.
  • Assembling furniture and components ready for installation
  • Installing completed projects at customer sites
  • Working from drawings and project specifications
  • Using a range of hand and power tools
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure projects are completed to a high standard

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience within furniture making, cabinet making, joinery, kitchen fitting or a similar industry
  • Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing high quality work
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem solving skills and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to work within both the workshop and on customer sites
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
