CNC Operator – Milling

  • Leicester | £13.50 – £14.00 per hour | Days
  • Monday to Thursday, 6am – 6pm | 48 paid hours per week
  • Friday and Saturday overtime available

We’re recruiting a CNC Operator for an established engineering manufacturer in Leicester.

This is an operating role working on Haas and Mazak milling machines producing mild steel components.

You do not need setting or programming experience.

  • Four day working week – Monday to Thursday.
  • 48 paid hours per week with one hour of paid breaks each day.
  • Day shifts only – no rotating shifts or nights.
  • Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays when required.
  • Friday overtime paid at time and a third.
  • Saturday overtime paid at time and a half.
  • Work within an established Leicester engineering manufacturer.
  • Opportunity to build further CNC machining experience.

What will you be doing?

  • Operating Haas and Mazak CNC milling machines.
  • Loading and unloading components.
  • Running existing programmes.
  • Carrying out basic checks on finished components.
  • Using callipers and plug gauges.
  • Working mainly with mild steel.
  • Keeping your work area clean and following standard production procedures.

What do you need?

  • Previous experience operating CNC milling machines.
  • Comfortable using basic measuring equipment such as callipers and plug gauges.
  • Able to work accurately and follow instructions.
  • Comfortable working a 6am – 6pm shift Monday to Thursday.

Setting and programming experience is not required.
